Things like leaving a light on in your vehicle or extreme cold temperatures can drain your battery to the point of not being able to start your vehicle. Now, not only can you not get on your way, but you are stuck out int the freezing cold with no source of heat.
We will come out and charge and or boost your battery which in turn should start your vehicle. Once your vehicle is running it will start to produce heat so you can get into a warm car. We can boost any battery from a small 4 cylinder car all the way up to a 10+ litre motor.
We will test your battery for proper voltage levels as well as your alternator to find out if it is puting out enough voltage to do it's job of charging your battery as it should while your vehicle is running.
Once your vehicle is running, leaving it run for a minimum of 1 hour should charge your battery up again so it can start your vehicle the next time you need it to.
Did you run out of gas? Did you forget to check your fuel gauge? And, I'll bet there are no gas stations near you! Or, it's too cold to walk!
We will deliver either 10 or 20 litres of gas (your choice) to your location to help you get on your way. Just specify how much you want when you first call us so we can be sure we have what you need when we arrive.
Do you have a flat tire or a tire that has gone down?
Driving on a tire with low air pressure can destroy your tire in just a kilometre or so. That can cost several hundreds of dollars in towing expenses as well as in getting your tire(s) replaced.
Calling us to come out to fill your tire can save you a lot of cash. We will come out and add either regular air or a tire sealant to your tire, or both. The tire sealant attempts to seal any holes that you may have in your tire as we fill the tire with air. If this is successful, then you should at least be able to drive to the nearest tire repair shop.
Of course, if your tire has no leaks and is just low on air, then filling the tire with air from our air compressor should solve your problem.
We can fill car tires, truck tires and even fifth-wheel tractor-trailer tires (up to 100 lbs) with air.
If your check engine light is on we can plug in our on board computer diagnostic reader to check if any error codes are showing up on your vehicle's on board computer. We can look up the codes to see what your computer is trying to tell you about any issues that your vehicle may be having. Then, when you take your vehicle in to the mechanic you can tell him what your on board computer is saying about your vehicle.
And, of course, should we not be able to get you on your way (for some unknown reason) we will not leave you stranded out in the cold. Transportation is assured to a location of your choice within 5 kms of your vehicle. If time allows transportation of more than 5 kms may be available for a fee.
We know what it's like to get stuck out in the cold with mayhem keeping you from getting on your way. We will do the best we can to get you warmed up and get you going to your next appointment.
